Rent Increase Check
“Is this rent increase legal?”
Your landlord raised the rent. State law caps most increases — and the cap is lower than people expect — plus a bigger jump requires a longer warning. Check the number, check the notice period, and check whether your building is even covered.
IEP Service Check

Why these exist
Most benefits terminations are not decisions that someone weighed and got wrong. They are paperwork — a form not returned, hours not verified, a renewal sent to an old address. In the 2023–24 Medicaid unwinding, roughly 17 million of the 25 million people disenrolled lost coverage for procedural reasons rather than because they were found ineligible.
Procedural losses are the most reversible kind. They also go almost entirely unappealed, because appealing requires knowing that a deadline exists, that it is probably sooner than the one you would guess, and that the letter itself has to meet legal requirements it often does not.
That is the whole job here: read the letter, find the real deadline, check it against the rule that was in force on the day it was written, and hand you something you can send.
